What ages is it for?
Children ages 4 to 7 who are just starting out, including kids who don’t know any letter sounds yet. Lessons begin at the very first sound and build from there.
Do I need any teaching experience?
No. Every step shows a short script for the grown-up: what to say, what to listen for, and how to help if your child gets stuck. If you can sit beside your child for a few minutes, you can do this.
How long is each lesson?
Short. Lessons are built for young attention spans, and progress saves as you go, so you can stop whenever your child is ready for a break.
What devices does it work on?
It runs in a modern web browser on iPads, Android tablets, Chromebooks and computers. A tablet in landscape on the couch is our favorite setup.
Can I use Step Up For Students (PEP / FES) funds?
